Braid gel gets judged on two things that pull against each other. Grip strong enough to hold the plait, and slip smooth enough to part and feed without dragging. Extra Hold and Easy Braid Jel is built to give you both.
The hold comes from film-forming polymers that grip root to tip, so cornrows, box braids and locs stay defined for weeks rather than fraying out at the front. The slip comes from separate agents that cut friction between strands while you work, which makes clean partings faster and means less pulling on the hair.
It dries clear with no white residue, so it works on any hair colour without flaking as the style ages, and there are conditioning ingredients in the formula so hair is not left parched under the hold.

Application tips
Damp, not wet. Water dilutes it and you end up using twice as much for half the hold.
Take a walnut-sized scoop for a full head and work it section by section as you go, not all at once. Smooth downwards with the flat of your hand so the cuticle lies the right way, then plait immediately while the section is still slippery. Wash your hands halfway through or the tub gets sticky.
Results
Partings come out clean and stay clean. Cornrows keep a defined edge for weeks, and box braids hold at the root instead of fraying at the front by the second week.
