The hold comes from film-forming polymers that grip root to tip, so cornrows, box braids and locs stay defined for weeks rather than fraying out at the front. The slip comes from separate agents that cut friction between strands while you work, which makes clean partings faster and means less pulling on the hair.
It dries clear with no white residue, so it works on any hair colour without flaking as the style ages, and there are conditioning ingredients in the formula so hair is not left parched under the hold.
