Same cactus oil, different job. Where the pure oil is a treatment, the serum is a finisher, blending cactus and argan oils with conditioning agents and built to go on last and stay put.
Most shine serums get their gloss from silicone, which coats the hair and does very little else. This one is silicone free and takes its shine from the oils themselves, so the gloss arrives with real conditioning behind it. The texture is light and it disappears into the hair on contact. Use it on locs, braids, twists and wash and go styles, a few drops rubbed between the palms and smoothed over the surface, and it will flatten flyaways, tidy the edges of a style and hold frizz down without stiffening anything.
4 oz. Good for type 2a to 3c, and particularly good on anyone who gave up on serums because of the build up.
