A scalp cream rather than a styler, and it gets used differently: parted sections, fingertips, massaged in, then left alone.
Cactus extract and Jamaican black castor oil make up the base, with botanical vitamins alongside them.
Black castor oil is thick, and the massage is half the value of the product, since that is what works the cream into the scalp properly rather than leaving it sitting on the surface.
What it does is condition. It soothes the feel of a dry, tight scalp, and it leaves the fine hair at the edges and along new growth less brittle, which is what keeps it from snapping under tension styles.
Warm a small amount between the fingertips first. Black castor oil is stiff straight out of the jar, and a cold scoop drags across the scalp instead of spreading through it.

Application tips
Scalp product, so the hair needs parting into rows and the cream going onto the skin rather than the strands. A small dab per parting, then work along the head with the fingertips.
Massage matters as much as the product. Two or three minutes with the pads of the fingers, firm enough to move the scalp rather than just slide over it. Two or three times a week, on a scalp that is clean.
Results
Tightness eases first. A scalp that felt papery three days after a wash stops announcing itself, which is the main change you notice inside the first fortnight.
Along the lengths it leaves a light conditioning film rather than grease, so hair looks less dull under the light. Combed gently and kept soft, strands snap less, and holding onto the ends you already have is what makes the length look like it is going somewhere.
