A scalp cream rather than a styler, and it gets used differently: parted sections, fingertips, massaged in, then left alone.
Cactus extract and Jamaican black castor oil make up the base, with botanical vitamins alongside them.
Black castor oil is thick, and the massage is half the value of the product, since that is what works the cream into the scalp properly rather than leaving it sitting on the surface.
What it does is condition. It soothes the feel of a dry, tight scalp, and it leaves the fine hair at the edges and along new growth less brittle, which is what keeps it from snapping under tension styles.
Warm a small amount between the fingertips first. Black castor oil is stiff straight out of the jar, and a cold scoop drags across the scalp instead of spreading through it.
