Saturate the hair and scalp, cover with a plastic cap, then either sit under a dryer for seven minutes or let your own body heat do the work for fifteen. That hot oil routine is where this bottle earns its keep.
The idea behind it is a blend. Jamaican black castor oil and Haitian black castor oil in one bottle, after years spent working out how to combine the two. Both are roasted castor oils, both are thick, and both condition hair and skin in much the same way.
It is a multi use oil rather than a hair only one. Massaged into the scalp it takes the edge off the dry, itchy feel, and used daily it keeps that at bay. Rubbed into skin it moisturises the patches most creams give up on. It works as a massage oil, as an after shower oil while the skin is still damp, and on rough cuticles that have gone hard at the edges.
Apply from root to end, massage for at least a minute, and give it time to absorb. Best on type 3b to 4c.
