Jahaitian Combination Black Castor Oil Leave-in Conditioner 237ml
Haiti and Jamaica both make black castor oil, and both do it slightly differently. Jahaitian Combination puts the two in the same bottle, with shea butter alongside them, which is the reason the brand exists at all.
As a leave-in it goes on after you rinse the conditioner out, on hair that is still wet. The shea butter gives it enough body to coat a coarse strand, and the two castor oils between them handle the sealing, so moisture that went in during the wash does not walk straight back out while the hair dries.
It is a leave-in rather than a styler, so treat it as the first layer. Apply in sections, comb through, then follow with whatever cream or gel you normally use. On its own it will soften the hair and take the edge off frizz, though it will not hold a defined set.
