Worth being straight about what this does. It is a styling creme that makes hair and edges look fuller and thicker while it is on the hair. The effect is cosmetic and it washes out, which is true of every product in this category regardless of what the front of the tub suggests.
On that basis it works well. The formula is built on glycerin and castor seed oil, with beeswax and carnauba wax giving it body, and a long list of botanicals underneath: peppermint oil, pea sprout extract, chamomile flower, sunflower and oat oils, olive oil, saw palmetto, vitamin E. Menthol gives it a cool tingle on application.
It goes on wet or dry hair. Part the hair, apply along the scalp and the edges first, then work the rest through and massage it in. Brush, comb and style as normal.
The menthol tingle is noticeable but brief. If your scalp runs sensitive, try a small area first and see how it settles before you take it across a whole head.
Most useful on sparse-looking edges and along partings, where a little texture and shine changes how dense the hair reads. Suits type 2a through 4a.

Application tips
A small scoop goes further than it looks, so start with less and add if the ends stay dry. Daily is fine on coarse or coily hair, every other day on anything finer. For the hairline, take a soft brush and lay the shorter hairs in the direction you want them. At night, a satin scarf over the top keeps the creme working rather than transferring to your pillow.
Results
Hair looks denser and the hairline looks filled in while the creme is on, which is a visual effect rather than anything permanent. The waxes give it enough body to hold a shape without stiffness. Dry ends soften and the hair takes a comb more easily. The cool menthol note fades quickly. Wash it out and the hair returns to how it was.
