Groganics Gro-Thick Hair Fattening Shampoo
Fine hair and thinning edges want the opposite of a stripping shampoo. Groganics Gro-Thick is sulphate-free and conditioning enough to wash with regularly, built around the look and feel of thicker strands rather than a harsh clean.
The ingredient list explains the feel: glycerin and shea butter for softness, hydrolysed keratin and panthenol coating the strand so it sits fuller, peppermint oil and menthol for the cool hit at the scalp, plus pea sprout and eclipta prostrata extracts. Paraben-free as well as sulphate-free.

Application tips
Soak the hair through before any product goes near it, because a sulphate-free shampoo needs water to spread. Work a small amount into the scalp in sections, using the pads of the fingers. Rinse and repeat if you use a lot of styling product, since the first pass mostly shifts what is on the surface. Follow with a conditioner on the lengths only.
Results
There is none of the stripped, squeaking feeling a sulphate wash gives you, and the scalp is lightly cooled by the menthol. Strands look fuller once dry, in the cosmetic sense of hair that is not weighed down by residue. Edges look neater. Fine hair keeps a bit of body rather than collapsing, and nothing is left behind to dull it.
