Application tips
Never spray it into hair that is already carrying yesterday's dry shampoo. Two days in a row is fine, three is where the scalp starts to feel coated. Between uses, brush it out at night. When you do wash, expect to shampoo twice to shift the starch. Hold the can upright and shake it between bursts so the propellant does not spit.
Results
Matte at the root, and the hair smells clean rather than perfumed. The rice starch takes the oil out of the equation for a day, and the finish is closer to freshly washed than to a textured, gritty one. Fine hair holds a bit more shape. The clean and crisp scent is sharp rather than sweet, which suits anyone who cannot stand a fruity dry shampoo.
