It cleanses gently, so a second wash is worth doing if you have used a lot of styling product. The scent is straightforwardly fruity and does not hang around all day.

Application tips
Roots first and roots mostly. Fine hair gets greasy at the scalp and stays dry at the ends, so the shampoo belongs in the top two inches and the ends can take whatever runs off. If you have been using dry shampoo through the week, do a second wash. Rinse with the head tipped forward so the water pulls the hair away from the scalp rather than flattening it.
Results
Roots stay lifted instead of collapsing flat against the head by lunchtime. A blow-dry holds its shape into a second day. Dull, fine hair looks brighter, mostly because there is nothing left on it to dull the light. The cleanse is gentle enough that the ends stay soft, and the fruit scent fades within the hour.
