Coconut oil and macadamia seed oil do the conditioning, in a vegan formula built to nourish without the weight that usually comes with it. Dry, frizzy hair takes a lot of product before it feels satisfied, and this one can be layered generously without the hair going flat or greasy the next day.
Slip is the practical benefit. Apply to wet hair, work it through the lengths with your fingers, and the tangles come apart under a wide-tooth comb instead of tearing. That alone accounts for a fair amount of the breakage most people put down to dryness.

Application tips
Once a week, put more on than feels sensible and leave it in for ten minutes with a cap on while you finish showering. The rest of the week, a smaller amount and a straight rinse is all it needs. Apply it to hair you have squeezed the excess water out of, not hair that is still dripping. Keep it off the scalp if your roots turn oily quickly.
Results
Frizzy hair reads smoother from the mid-lengths down, and the surface stays that way through a damp walk to the bus. Curl clumps stay defined. Even used heavily it rinses away rather than sitting on the hair, so the roots keep their lift. Ends look less wispy after a few weeks. There is a faint coconut smell on damp hair and almost none once dry.
