Application tips
Wet the hair properly first. Thirty seconds under the water beats any amount of extra shampoo. A ten-pence blob is enough for the scalp on most heads, and the scalp is the only place it needs to go. If you wear braids or twists, dilute a little in a bottle with water and squeeze it along the parts instead of trying to work a thick lather in.
Results
The hair comes out cleaner than a co-wash and softer than a clarifying shampoo, which is the gap this one fills. Frizz is less obvious once the hair dries because the cuticle has not been roughed up by the wash itself. Dull lengths pick up a little light again. Dense curls do not feel stripped at the ends, and second-day hair is easier to refresh with water alone.
