Cocoa butter is the richest formula in the Garnier Hair Food range, and the tags on this one say why: type 3b through 4c, the textures that drink product and still want more. Lighter masks in the range wash out of dense coils without leaving much behind. This one does not.
The 390 ml tub can be used three ways, as a conditioner, a deep mask, or a leave-in on the ends. Cocoa butter provides the weight, the formula is 97% natural origin and vegan, and there is no silicone in it, so nothing accumulates on the hair over a run of wash days.
