Application tips
Cut on the outside of the section, with the still blade against the hair and the moving blade doing the travelling. Keep the hand at the same height right through a section so the line lands level.
For slide cutting, open the blades slightly and let the hair run. Forcing them shut halfway through is what leaves a notch.
Results
Straightforward, sharp and the right size for most work. Blunt lines land clean, point cutting stays controlled, and slide cutting runs without catching. Japanese stainless steel means the edge lasts and the blades do not pit when they get put away damp.
