Application tips
Five and a half inches is a thumb and two fingers tool, so keep the grip loose. Rest the ring finger in its hole rather than gripping through it, and let the little finger sit on the rest.
Dry the blades immediately after a wet cut. Water left sitting on the pivot is what eventually puts a spot on Japanese steel, hard-wearing as it is.
