Application tips
Lay it flat and fold corner to corner into a triangle, then roll from the long edge down to whatever width you want. Over the head, knot at the nape, under the hair rather than over it if it has to survive a playground.
For a ponytail, tie the band around the elastic and leave the ends loose. Cool wash, and it dries quickly.
Results
One accessory that turns into four or five depending on the day. Hair stays off the face, a fringe grows out without becoming a daily argument, and the print does the persuading when a child has decided against having their hair touched.
