Firm Hold is the middle setting in Fantasia's liquid mousse range, and for most everyday styling it is the more useful of the two. Super Hold locks a sculpted shape down hard. This one holds a blow dry, a wrap or a set of curls in place while still letting the hair look like hair.
It sprays wet and sets as it dries, so you have time to comb it through and shape the section before it takes. The 355ml bottle is non aerosol, and the formula dries quickly without leaving hair sticky, stiff or flaking white on a dark head.
Works across hair types, on damp hair for a set or on dry hair as a finisher. Two light passes beat one heavy one, especially near the roots, where anything applied too generously will show as a line once the hair dries down.

Application tips
Section the head into four before you start, then spritz each part from about twenty centimetres out and comb it through while it is still wet.
Roll or wrap straight away, because the shape you set is the shape it keeps once the moisture leaves. Sit under a dryer or leave it alone to air dry. Resist the urge to run a brush through halfway; that breaks the set before it has formed.
Results
Hold that behaves like structure rather than shellac. A wrap stays flat, a roller set keeps its bend, and a blow dry holds body through a working day.
The finish is dry to the touch with no tack under the fingers, and the hair still moves when you turn your head. On darker hair nothing chalky shows along a parting.
