Application tips
Mousse belongs on soaking wet hair, and the amount depends on density more than length.
Dispense into a cupped palm, then apply in sections by cupping the hair upward and squeezing, which sets the wave pattern as it goes on. Do not comb afterwards. Diffuse on low heat or let it air dry untouched, and only scrunch out any crispness once it is fully dry.
Results
Waves and curls come out defined with plenty of movement left in them, so the style does not read as set. Frizz stays under control in damp UK weather, which is the real test.
The hold is light enough that fine hair keeps its volume, and there is no stickiness or residue when you run your fingers through. Shine looks natural rather than glazed.
