Fantasia IC built this one for curly and coily hair specifically, from 3b spirals through to 4c coils. It defines the pattern without stiffness, puts moisture back into hair that dries out fast, and smooths the frizz that surfaces as the hair dries. No crunch and no sticky residue, which is the usual complaint about activators on dense hair.
Work it through damp hair a section at a time, either raking it in for volume or smoothing it down each section for more definition. Air dry or diffuse.

Application tips
Start at the back, where the hair is densest and where most people run out of patience.
Two fingers of cream per section, applied to hair that is properly wet, pressed in from the ends upward. A wide tooth comb or a denman brush through each section gets the cream into every strand and forms the clump at the same time. Then hands off until it is dry.
Results
Coils sit apart from each other in defined groups instead of merging into one mass. The cream keeps moisture in the hair for days, so day three still has movement in it.
There is no shell to break and nothing sticky on the hands afterwards. Dense 4c hair takes plenty of it without going stiff, and the shrinkage that comes with definition reads as spring rather than flatness.
