Application tips
A 473ml bottle invites a heavy hand, so measure it: a ten pence coin of shampoo for short hair, twice that for long.
Wet the hair fully, apply at the scalp, and work in with fingertips for a minute before you rinse. If you use gel or heavy oil, expect to wash twice. Follow with conditioner on the ends, because aloe cleanses cleanly and the lengths will want something back.
Results
Build-up comes off without the hair feeling stripped, and the scalp is left calm and comfortable rather than tight. Aloe leaves a slight slip behind, so wet hair is easier to handle straight after rinsing.
Oily roots stay fresher into the second day, while dry lengths are not punished for it. Colour-treated hair holds up, and the finish is clean rather than coated.
