Best on dry, damaged or chemically treated hair, natural or relaxed. If your hair is in reasonable condition already, something lighter will serve you better. Worth saying that the tingle is stronger than most people expect on the first wash. It settles down within a wash or two.

Application tips
Expect a tingle; that is the Dr. Miracle's signature and it arrives within seconds. Wet the hair fully, work a palmful into the scalp, and leave it there while you do something else for a minute rather than rinsing straight away.
Keep it out of the eyes. One wash cleans, two if you have been oiling the scalp. Conditioner afterwards is optional given how much slip this leaves.
Results
The scalp comes out feeling cool and clean, and the cooling holds for a minute or so after the water stops. Hair is soft enough that plenty of people skip conditioner afterwards.
Dry, chemically processed lengths do not come out stripped or squeaky. The sensation is strong though, so anyone with a tender scalp is better off trying a small wash first.
