Application tips
The tingle is the point, so let it sit. Lather onto a wet scalp, work it in with your fingertips, and leave it for a minute or two before rinsing rather than washing it straight off.
A second wash is worth it if you have been oiling. Keep it away from the eyes, since the sensation is sharper there. Follow with conditioner on the lengths.
Results
The scalp comes out feeling clean and cool, and the tight, dry sensation that builds between washes lifts. Build-up along the parting goes, which is usually what was making the roots look flat.
Hair feels light afterwards and takes conditioner better. The cooling sensation fades within a few minutes and is not for everyone, so it is worth a small trial if your scalp runs sensitive.
