Doo Gro Hair Vitalizer Anti Itch Formula for Soothed Scalp & Healthy Hair Growth 113g/3.99 oz
The Vitalizer is the cream version of the Doo Gro range, thicker than the oils and easier to place exactly where you want it on the scalp.
This is the Anti Itch Formula, so Menthol and Camphor give it a cooling feel on application. On a scalp gone dry and tight under braids, a weave or a fortnight of protective styling, that cooling is the whole reason people keep a tub around. It conditions the scalp and the hair together, softening dryness and making the hair easier to handle when the style comes out.
Under a weave or a set of braids, the scalp is the part of the routine that gets neglected, because it is the part you cannot reach. A cream this thick, placed along the partings with a fingertip, is the practical answer to that.
113g. It works across natural, relaxed, chemically treated and installed styles, and the conditioning means less breakage at the comb, which is the part of length retention anyone can control.

Application tips
A 113g tub of this format is worked in with fingertips, not poured. Scoop a small amount, warm it between your fingers until it softens, and press it into the scalp along each parting.
Braids, weaves and locs are the reason the pot format exists; you can get in between rows without disturbing the style. Once or twice a week suits most people. Any more and it will build up.
Results
The dry, tight feel that comes with a scalp under a protective style eases, and the itchy sensation along the parts settles. Hair at the roots gets a low sheen rather than a wet look.
It softens the hairline enough that a comb or a braid does not drag, which is where a lot of breakage starts. The finish is greasy in the useful sense, not the messy one.
