Doo Gro Growth Repair Conditioner: Strengthens & Repairs for Healthy Hair Growth 300ml/10.14 oz
Doo Gro is an old name in textured hair care, and the Growth Repair conditioner is the damage-focused product in the line. Read the name as length retention rather than as anything happening at the follicle, because that is what a conditioner can honestly do.
The formula is a rich 300ml rinse-out aimed at hair that has been chemically processed, heat-damaged or simply handled too much. It hydrates the strand, smooths the ends so they stop catching on each other, and improves how the hair behaves under tension. Brittle hair that snaps mid-length is the specific problem it is built for.
Best across 2A through 3C, natural or relaxed.
Use it after shampoo, work it into the lengths and ends rather than the roots, and leave it three to five minutes before rinsing. On badly damaged hair, use it at every wash for a few weeks and judge it on how much shorter the broken pieces in your comb get.

Application tips
Wring the hair out first. Conditioner cannot get into a strand that is already full of water, and on a 300ml bottle that is the difference between a fortnight and a month of use.
Emulsify a palmful between your hands before it touches the head. Detangle while it is in, working from the ends up with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Finish on cool water, which closes the cuticle down flat.
Results
Hair comes out of the shower soft enough to comb wet, which on damaged lengths is not a given. The rough, straw-like feel along the mid-lengths goes, and ends stop looking wispy and pale.
There is more give when you pull a strand, and less of that dry crackle when you rake fingers through. Nothing about the finish is heavy, so fine textures are not flattened by it.
