Tea tree has a sharp, herbal smell that you either like or you do not. Difeel dilute it into a base oil for scalp use, so it is far softer than neat tea tree, but the scent is still the first thing you notice.

Application tips
Set it up as a pre-wash treatment and give it time to sit. Part into rows, apply along the scalp with the nozzle, massage in, then clip or plait the hair up and leave it.
Shampoo out afterwards, and expect to need two washes rather than one. If you are only using it on the lengths, skip the sitting time and apply straight after towel drying.
Results
The scalp comes out feeling genuinely clear, with the coated, heavy feeling gone and the tightness along with it. Shampoo works more easily on hair that has been pre-oiled this way.
On the lengths the base oil smooths the surface, so shine improves without weight. The smell is sharp and herbal on application and fades once the hair is dry, which is worth knowing before you buy.
