Jojoba is not really an oil. It is a liquid wax, and its structure is close enough to the scalp's own sebum that hair takes it without the greasy weight most oils leave behind.

Application tips
Fine hair can put this anywhere, which is rare for a mask. Work it through damp hair from roots to ends if yours is fine, or concentrate on the mid-lengths and ends if it is coarse and needs more product per section.
Leave it the stated time, rinse well, and skip your usual conditioner afterwards. Doubling up is what turns a balanced treatment into a flat one.
Results
It leaves the hair conditioned but light, with the roots still lifting and the ends still soft. That combination is what jojoba is good for.
