Application tips
Treat it as a spot treatment. Take a small amount on a fingertip, rub it out between finger and thumb until it thins, then press it into the last two inches of each section rather than raking it through.
The nape and the crown usually need it most. Leave it on damp hair for as long as you can spare, then shampoo out. A single wash may not shift all of it.
Results
Ends that felt like wire go soft and stop catching on clothing. Splits slow down because the tip of the strand is coated rather than bare, and coils clump into thicker, better defined pieces.
There is real weight to it, so a wash-and-go will hang longer than usual. On tightly coiled hair this is the kind of density that finally makes the ends feel like the rest of the head.
