Biotin is a B vitamin involved in keratin production, and it turns up in a lot of hair products for that reason. Applied topically in a conditioner what it does is condition, and that is worth being straight about.

Where this earns its place is on fine, limp or fragile hair. The formula is light enough not to flatten a 2A wave, and it works on the strand so it feels thicker between the fingers and holds more body once dry. Fewer broken pieces in the comb means more of the hair you have stays on your head, which over a few months is what makes hair look fuller.

12oz, used after shampoo. Concentrate on the lengths and ends. Massage a little into the scalp too, since it also softens the tight, dry feeling that comes with washing frequently.

Suits 2A through 4A, and works alongside the matching Difeel shampoo if you want the full routine.

Application tips

Use less than you think and put it where it counts. A coin-sized amount through the lengths, worked in with the flats of your fingers, then a smaller amount pressed into the ends.

Give it two or three minutes rather than rinsing straight away, because a light conditioner needs contact time to do anything at all. Rinse properly. Anything left behind on fine hair shows up as flatness by the afternoon.

Results

Fine hair comes out with body rather than weight, which is a harder trick than it sounds. Strands feel denser between the fingers, and a loose wave keeps its lift at the root.

Breakage in the comb drops, so more of the hair you grow stays attached. The scalp feels less tight after washing. Fuller-looking hair is what fewer broken ends look like across a few months.
