Sulphate-free cleansing takes off product build-up, dirt and excess oil without dismantling the moisture balance underneath. The difference shows after it dries. Strands feel supple rather than rough, and the curl pattern is still there instead of frizzed out. Detangling afterwards is noticeably quicker, which for densely coiled hair is the part of wash day worth optimising.
Twelve ounces. Textured, curly and coily hair of any density will get on with it, and it pairs naturally with the Almond and Avocado co-wash. Shampoo when the scalp needs it, co-wash the rest of the time.

Application tips
Two washes beat one. The first pass shifts oil and product and barely lathers, the second one actually cleans, so do not judge the bottle on how little foam appears at first.
Apply it to the scalp only, in parts, and let the run-off do the lengths as you rinse. Fingertips, never nails. Follow with conditioner while the hair is still soaking rather than after towel-drying.
Results
Clean, but without the squeaky, stripped feeling that follows a harsh wash. The scalp feels comfortable and the lengths stay soft enough to run fingers through wet.
Build-up goes, curls come back, and detangling afterwards takes noticeably less work. Nothing is left tight or rough, and the hair keeps enough of its own oil to look shiny rather than dull.
