Design Essentials Almond & Avocado Moisturising & Detangling Conditioner 12oz
Four fats in one bottle: almond, avocado, shea butter and coconut milk.
That combination is why this conditioner reads as creamy rather than lotiony, and why it works on hair that other rinse-outs slide straight off. It penetrates rather than coating, so curls and coils come out softer from the inside rather than merely feeling coated on the surface. Regular use shows up as hair that is more supple and considerably easier to get a comb through.
The slip is the standout. On dense, tightly coiled hair a wide-tooth comb should move from root to tip in a single pass while the product is still on, and Design Essentials put the saving at up to half an hour on a wash day where detangling normally drags. Less time under tension means less shedding and less breakage.
Suits 2A through 3C. Apply after shampoo to soaking wet hair, work it through in sections, detangle, then rinse. The 12oz bottle is the standard size in the range.

Application tips
Use more than feels reasonable. Dense hair needs a proper coat, and a thin layer is why people end up thinking a conditioner has no slip.
Leave it sitting while you finish in the shower, then detangle with fingers before any comb touches it. Start at the tips. Rinse most of it out but not all, because leaving a trace on the ends keeps them soft while you style.
Results
The comb is the test. On tightly coiled hair it should run from root to tip in one pass while the conditioner is still on, and very little should come away in the teeth.
Rinsed, the hair reads creamy rather than stripped. Curls sit softer and clump more readily, and the shine that dry hair loses comes back straight away. Wash day stops being the hour you dread.
