Split ends, brittle lengths and hair that has been coloured one time too many are what this serum is aimed at. The Anti Damage serum from Delia's Cameleo range is built around pure argan oil.
It goes into the hair shaft rather than resting on it, which is why the improvement lasts past the first wash. Damaged strands are strengthened, the cuticle is smoothed, and the shine that comes back is the mirror kind rather than the greasy kind. Frizz and flyaways settle down at the same time.
It also works as a barrier. Applied before a blow-dry or a straightener it takes some of the edge off the heat, and it does the same job against wind and sun during the day.

Application tips
Two or three drops into the palm, rubbed between the hands, then pressed through the lower half of the hair. Nothing goes near the roots, since serum at the scalp only makes hair look flat.
On damp hair it goes in before heat styling. On dry hair it is a finishing step for flyaways at the end of the day. Add drops one at a time and stop early.
Results
Split, brittle ends look and feel less ragged, and the hair reflects light evenly along the whole length. Frizz and static settle within seconds of the drops going on. Bleached or repeatedly coloured lengths stop feeling straw-like under the fingers. Used before a dryer or an iron, it puts a layer between the tool and the strand.
