Lanolin is the reason this pomade behaves the way it does. It is an emollient that sits close to the hair's own oils, which makes it unusually good on hair gone dry and brittle from heat, colour or chemical processing.
Super Lanolin is a light hold styler rather than a heavy one. It tames flyaways, defines curls and smooths a style down without stiffness or residue, and the shine it adds is strong without looking greasy. The conditioning is the real draw. Used regularly it improves how the hair handles, so combing and styling put less strain on the ends.
That reduction in day-to-day stress is what supports length retention. Most people are not short of growth, they are short of ends that survive the year.
Warm it between your palms before it goes anywhere near your hair. Lanolin is stiff in the tin and much easier to distribute once softened, which is the difference between an even coat and a patchy one.

Application tips
Warm a small scoop until it softens, then work it through dry hair, concentrating on the driest lengths and ends. On very dry hair, work in sections so nothing gets missed.
Treat it as a daily dressing, not a weekly treatment. There is no rinsing step. Comb through afterwards to spread it evenly and set whatever shape you want.
Results
Dry, brittle hair softens noticeably and stops feeling as though it will snap under a comb. Lanolin is heavy enough to stay on the strand for days, and it will not wash off in the first shower.
