Short and Neat is a tin of light hold hair dressing, and the name describes the finish accurately. It is not a pomade for a hard part or a sculpted quiff. It is for keeping a short style tidy, laying an edge down, and putting a low sheen on hair that would otherwise look dry.
The hold is deliberately soft. Hair still moves, and you can run a comb through it later in the day without the product cracking or flaking. Dax have been making this one for a long time and the formula has not chased trends.
The 3.5 oz tin lasts a while at the amount most people use, which is less than they expect. Warm a small scrape between your fingers, work it through, then comb into shape.
