It is a strong hold pomade with a high shine finish, thick in the tin and pliable once you warm it. On thick or unruly hair it gives you enough control to sculpt a shape and keep it, whether that is a classic slick or something with more structure to it. The sheen is heavy and deliberate, so if you prefer a matte look this is not the tin for you.
It is what you reach for when a lighter pomade has been sliding out of your hair by mid-morning, and it is particularly useful on coarse textures that a water-based styler cannot get a grip on in the first place. Work a small amount between your palms until it softens, then apply from the back forward. 99g. It shifts more easily with a clarifying shampoo than with a standard one, which is worth knowing before you start using it every day.

Application tips
Scoop, warm, spread across the palms, then push through dry hair from root to tip. Kocatah is dense, so start with less than a fingertip and add only if the hair is refusing to hold.
Sculpt with a comb while it is still warm. Once it cools it sets where it sits, so any reshaping is much easier done in the first minute.
