Creme of Nature's Mango and Shea Butter leave-in is built for 3B to 4C hair, the textures that dehydrate fastest once the water is off. Mango butter and shea butter carry the moisture, and both are rich enough to stay on the strand rather than flashing off with the water. On dry, dehydrated hair the immediate effect is softness and a lot more give when you comb.
Use it on damp hair, section by section, before anything else goes on. It will handle detangling at the same time, which saves a step. On dry hair mid-week, a small amount smoothed over the ends brings the softness back without a full rewash.
250ml in a bottle rather than a jar, so it pours and spreads easily. If your hair is dense, expect to get through it faster than you would like.

Application tips
Wetter is better. Apply while the hair is still dripping if you can, because a leave-in is mostly there to hold water in and there needs to be water to hold.
Squeeze it in rather than raking, working in four sections, and let the ends have the most.
On 4C hair, follow with an oil or a butter to seal. On 3B, this alone is often enough.
Results
Hair stays hydrated past the point where it usually starts tightening up, which on 3B to 4C is somewhere around hour three of a wash day.
The two butters give it enough body to sit on the strand rather than evaporating with the water. Curls clump instead of separating. The hair feels cushioned, and there is enough between your fingers and the strand that handling it stops costing you pieces.
