Rake it through in sections while the hair is still dripping, then leave it alone to dry. Touching it while it sets is what brings the frizz back. If you want more definition than the jelly gives on its own, put a cream underneath and let the jelly do the holding. Used alone it is a light setter, which is rather the point of choosing a jelly over a gel. Best on waves and looser curls, 2a to 3b.

Application tips
Dripping wet hair, in sections, raked through with the fingers and then smoothed down each length.
Over a leave-in if you want more definition, on its own if you want less weight. Then hands off entirely. Every touch while it sets brings frizz back. Air dry, or diffuse without moving the hair around.
Results
Sections gather into clumps while the jelly is still wet, and they set that way, which is what buys length over a tightly sculpted finish.
Shrinkage gets held back and frizz stays down through the day. The cast is light enough that there is barely anything to break at the end.
Pair it with a cream when a light setter alone leaves the definition softer than you wanted.
