Mousse has a bad reputation left over from the era when it meant crunch and white flakes. This one does not behave like that.
Coconut milk sits at the centre of the formula, so the foam carries moisture rather than just alcohol and hold. It drenches curls and kinks as you work it in, then dries to a soft definition with body still in it. No stickiness, and nothing to brush out at the end of the day.
The 7 oz can suits wash-and-go styles, twist-outs and rod sets equally well, which is the advantage of a foam. It distributes through wet hair faster than a cream and you can see where it has been. Tags run 2a to 3b, so waves and mid-range curls that want volume rather than weight.
Shake, dispense into your palm, and scrunch upward through soaking wet hair. Air dry or diffuse.

Application tips
Soaking wet hair, always. Foam needs water to travel, and towel-dried hair will take it in patches.
Two handfuls of foam, scrunched upwards in sections, or raked through if you want less volume and more length. For rod sets and twist-outs, apply before you wrap rather than after. Then hands off until it is dry, and shake the roots out at the end rather than combing.
Results
Definition without a shell. Curls and kinks hold a clear outline, and the shape survives the hair drying down rather than loosening as the water goes.
Volume is the thing this format gives that a gel cannot. Hair keeps its lift at the root, moves normally, and does not go crisp. Second day, a spray of water brings the pattern straight back.
