Creme of Nature Aloe & Black Castor Oil Fortifying Hair Mask 12 oz / 355 ml - For Hydration & Strength
Aloe vera juice sits at the top of this ingredient list, which tells you what kind of mask it is. Aloe is watery and light, so the hydration goes in fast rather than sitting on the surface as a heavy film. Jamaican black castor oil and added vitamins follow it, giving the formula enough substance to hold that moisture in place once you rinse.
Use it as the weekly deep treatment rather than the every-wash conditioner. On clean damp hair, section, apply from mid-length to ends where the damage lives, and leave it for the time the label gives. Heat helps if you have a cap, though it is not required. Hair comes out softer and easier to comb, with more give in it, which is what a fortifying mask is for: strands that stretch and recover instead of snapping.
Made for type 3b through 4c hair that feels dry and brittle, and useful if you are trying to hold on to length. 12 oz / 355 ml.

Application tips
Weekly, rather than at every wash. Clean damp hair, four sections, applied from the mid-length down where the wear actually shows.
Comb each section through while the mask is on so the coverage is even, then leave it for the time on the label with a cap over the top. Rinse thoroughly and follow with your usual leave-in.
Results
Combing gets easier while the mask is still on, which is the first sign of it working.
Afterwards the hair feels softer and has more stretch in it, so handling costs you fewer broken ends. Dry, brittle lengths hold their moisture into the next day rather than going crisp by evening. Coarse 4c coils take it well; fine hair should use half what feels right.
