Crazy Color Ultra Violet Anti-Yellow Shampoo Neutralizes Brassiness for Blonde, Silver & Grey Hair 250 ml / 8.45 oz
Brassiness is not always the colourist's fault.
Hard water, UV, chlorine and the slow oxidation of bleached hair all push light hair warm over a few weeks, and no amount of careful washing stops it entirely. Ultra Violet is the correction. It is a concentrated violet-pigmented shampoo that neutralises yellow as part of an ordinary wash, so the tone drifts back toward cool instead of away from it. Crazy Color have been making pigment for decades, and the strength here reflects that.
It suits blonde, bleached, silver and grey hair. Massage it through wet hair, leave it a few minutes, then rinse well. Gloves are sensible with anything this pigmented, and porous ends need less time than the rest. The 250 ml bottle lasts a long while at once-weekly use.

Application tips
Pigment this concentrated wants a short contact time. One to two minutes on wet hair is a maintenance dose. Three to five is a correction, and it is easy to overshoot on pale blonde.
Spread it through the palms first so it lands evenly, gloves on if you have a manicure to protect. Rinse well, condition afterwards, and go back to your usual shampoo for the washes in between.
Results
Brass comes down and the blonde reads cool again. Acid Violet 43 does that part, sitting against the yellow rather than covering it, so the result is a change of tone rather than a layer of colour.
There is a cleansing job going on underneath it. The lather lifts oil and product properly, and the wheat protein and panthenol stop the hair feeling stripped when it dries.
