Everything else in a styling routine happens on wet hair. This one happens at the end, once the style is dry and you want it to survive the walk to the bus stop. It is a light mist that sits over a finished style and holds humidity off it.
Cantu built it around shea butter, so it adds a little moisture and sheen while it sets, rather than drying the hair out the way a lot of finishing sprays do. The hold is real but soft. Hair stays touchable, not stiff or sticky, and it works over a blow-dried style as readily as over curls.
The formula leaves out:

- Sulfates and parabens
- Silicones and phthalates
- Gluten and propylene
Mist it over dry hair from a short distance, moving as you go so you are not soaking one spot. Do not comb through afterwards, or you undo the point of it.
