This is the deliberately boring one. No fragrance, no dye, no sulphates, and a stripped-back ingredient list aimed at people whose scalp reacts to almost everything else on the shelf.
What it leaves out:

Dermatologist reviewed and tested as hypoallergenic, which narrows the odds of a reaction without promising anything. It still cleans properly. Curls come out soft rather than squeaky, and because there is no silicone in it, nothing accumulates over successive washes.

Pair it with an equally plain conditioner while you are testing, and reintroduce one variable at a time, or the exercise tells you nothing. Application tips
Water first, and more of it than you think. Apply at the scalp in sections rather than piling it on top. Fingertips, gentle pressure, no nails.
One round is usually enough. Rinse for longer than feels necessary, because leftover shampoo is a common reason a scalp feels worse after a wash rather than better. Condition afterwards, every time.
Results
Hair comes out clean without the stripped feeling that makes a sensitive scalp complain. Curls stay soft and defined while wet rather than knotting into a mass, so the conditioner afterwards has less to fix.
