Chemically treated hair has a specific problem. The process that changed the texture also left the cuticle porous, so moisture leaves faster than it does on virgin hair. Relaxed, texturised, permed and coloured hair all sit in that bracket, and all of them benefit from something that seals rather than only moisturises.
Cantu build this pomade on shea butter, thick enough to form that seal and soft enough to spread through a section without pulling. The 4 oz tin is a styling product and a moisture product at once.

Application tips
A fingertip is the starting dose and it is easy to overshoot. Warm it between the fingers until it turns from solid to slick, then work it into the section you are shaping.
On edges, use a brush after your fingers. On dry lengths, press rather than rake. Sealing works best over a damp leave-in, not on bone-dry hair.
Results
Porous, chemically treated hair holds its moisture for longer once something sits over the top of it, and that is what the weight here buys you. Flyaways lie flat.
Short styles pick up definition and a low, even shine rather than a wet gloss. Edges lay without going hard, and the hair still moves when you touch it.
