Cantu Grapeseed Treatment Masque: Strengthening & Hydrating for Curly, Coily & Wavy Hair 340g / 11.99 oz
Curls that feel rough between the fingers and snap at the ends usually need a mask rather than another leave-in. This is the deep conditioning step in Cantu's grapeseed range, and it is thick enough to sit on the hair and do something while you get on with the rest of your shower.
Grapeseed oil and shea butter carry the formula. Grapeseed is the lighter of the two, so the masque conditions without the flatness a pure butter treatment can leave, and the shea handles hair that is properly parched. Curl pattern comes back more clearly once hair is dry, and breakage drops off with regular use.
Use it after shampoo, on hair you have squeezed most of the water out of. Work it through in sections so the ends actually get some, then rinse.
340 g. Suits curly, coily and wavy hair. Worth having in rotation if your ends are the part that gives you trouble.

Application tips
Wring the hair out hard after shampooing. A masque on a sopping head mostly ends up down the drain. Take it right to the ends and no further up than the ear.
Cap on afterwards, ten minutes minimum and longer if the shower can spare it, then rinse until the hair feels clean rather than slippery. Once a week suits most people, twice while your ends are in a bad patch.
Results
Rough, straw-feeling curls go smooth between the fingers, and the change is obvious the same day rather than after a month. Definition sharpens because a hydrated strand holds its shape better than a parched one.
Ends stop catching on jumpers. The finish is soft rather than heavy, so fine hair does not lose its lift to the treatment.
