Cantu For Kids Nourishing Conditioner 8 oz / 237 ml - For Fragile Coils, Curls & Waves
Children with curls and coils lose moisture faster than the adults around them, partly because their hair is finer and partly because nobody is being careful with it at bath time.
A rinse-out conditioner is the cheapest fix for that. This one runs on shea butter, coconut oil and honey. You use it in the shower after shampoo, leave it on while you comb, then rinse. The comb-through is the point: the conditioner is what makes hair slippery enough to work with, and the honey holds water in the strand after the rinse rather than letting it dry straight off.
- Softens dry, thirsty hair so it combs without dragging
- Adds slip for a calmer detangling session
- Shea butter and coconut oil for lasting softness
- 237 ml, enough for a run of wash days
Suits fragile coils, curls and waves, roughly type 2A through 3B.

Application tips
Shampoo first, then squeeze the water out before this goes on, or it will slide off. Concentrate it on the ends and the back of the head where knots gather.
Comb it through while it is on, which is the easiest detangle you will get all week. Leave a minute or two, rinse with cooler water than you washed with.
Results
A comb that moves is the entire job here, and this gives enough slip to get through the back of the head without a fight.
Hair rinses soft rather than squeaky, dries faster, and holds a plait without frizzing along the parting. Dry, thirsty coils feel plumper between the fingers and far less likely to snap when you handle them.
