Curling cream is the middle ground on wash day: more definition than a leave-in, less hold than a gel, and soft enough that the finished curl still moves. This is the acai berry version, at 340 g / 11.99 oz.
Acai berry extract and pure shea butter are the two things carrying it. The shea gives it body and the acai keeps it from feeling heavy, which is why it works across wavy, curly and coily hair rather than only at the denser end. Curls come out moisturised, bouncy and largely free of frizz.
Rake it through soaking wet hair in sections, scrunch, and leave it. If you want more hold on top, a gel goes over it fine. Suits 2a waves through to 4c coils, though very fine hair may want to use less than it thinks.

Application tips
Amount scales with density rather than length. Thick hair needs a palmful per quarter of the head, fine hair a great deal less.
Apply while hair is still dripping, smooth it down each section with flat palms, then cup and squeeze upward. Air dry or diffuse without touching. Fluff the roots only once everything is dry.
Results
Moisture is the first thing you feel. Curls turn bouncy, frizz mostly disappears, and the hair stays soft to the touch rather than setting into a shell.
Definition is moderate rather than sharp, which suits anyone who wants their hair to look like hair. On coarse textures it doubles as the leave-in, so wash day loses a step.
