Oud is agarwood resin, and it is one of the most expensive raw materials in perfumery, so a hair mask built around it is doing something unusual. The scent is warm and woody rather than sweet, and it stays in the hair for a day or two after you rinse.
Underneath the fragrance it is a proper deep conditioner. The formula is rich enough to coat a coarse strand end to end. It goes on clean damp hair, sits for the time the label states, and rinses out leaving the hair soft, heavier in the hand and much easier to comb. Dryness and frizz both settle down, and the strand has more stretch in it than it did.
Treat it as the weekly or fortnightly step rather than an every-wash conditioner, since something this rich will build up if you run it too often.

Application tips
Shampoo first, then squeeze the water out until hair is damp rather than streaming. Split into four sections and apply from the ends upward, using a wide tooth comb to spread it evenly through each one.
Clip it up, cover with a cap, and give it the time stated on the pack. Rinse in cool water, which helps the cuticle lie flat as it closes.
Results
Hair feels heavier and softer immediately, and a comb passes through lengths that were fighting you an hour earlier.
Dryness settles for several days rather than an afternoon, and frizz has less to work with once the surface is smooth. Coarse textures benefit most. The oud scent survives the rinse, so you catch it again whenever the hair moves.
