This is a between-washes product. Not a leave-in you build a style on, and not a conditioner, but the light liquid you reach for on day two or three when the shape is still fine and the hair simply needs moisture put back.

The formula runs on humectants, which pull moisture out of the air and into the strand. That is what makes it feel like a drink rather than a coating, and why it avoids the greasy film a heavy cream would leave. The fragrance is soft and the texture is thin enough that it does not disturb a set curl.

How it fits: mist a little onto the hair or into damp palms, smooth over the surface, then scrunch or reshape. On a wash day it also works as the first light layer before a cream, particularly for hair that goes limp under anything richer.

Best for type 2a through 3c hair. 8 oz.

Application tips

Less than you expect. Two or three pumps for shoulder length hair and no more, because a liquid this thin spreads much further than a cream.

Aim at the underside and the ends rather than the crown, where weight shows first. Do not comb it through afterwards. Keep the bottle out of the shower, since the hair that needs it is dry hair on day three.

Results

Thirsty hair takes it in within a minute and softens, without the slick film a cream leaves behind at the roots.

Curls that had gone stiff and dull loosen up and move again. Because it is a liquid rather than a cream, second day hair keeps its volume instead of collapsing under the weight of being refreshed.

Composition

The full INCI is printed on the pack. We publish it here as soon as the brand supplies it, and we will read it off the bottle for you if you ask.
