Cholesterol treatments are an old idea in textured hair care and they still work. The cholesterol is an emollient from the same family as the lipids hair loses through colouring, heat and time, so a treatment like this puts weight and structure back into a strand that has gone limp and porous.
Camille Rose add buriti nectar to theirs. Buriti is heavy in vitamins A and E, and it gives the treatment its colour and a good deal of its conditioning. Together they take on hair that has been over-processed: dry, dull, snapping when you comb it, no bounce left in it.
Use it as a deep treatment on clean damp hair, not as your regular conditioner. Section it in, cover the head, leave it for the time on the label, and rinse thoroughly. Hair comes out with more give in it and noticeably more shine.
Formulated for type 2a through 3c textures. Once every few weeks is enough for most people, more often only if the hair is badly damaged. 8 oz.

Application tips
This replaces your conditioner on the days you use it rather than joining it. Apply to clean, damp hair in four sections and get the mid-lengths and ends properly coated. Cap it and give it the time on the label. Rinse until the hair feels clean rather than slippery, since the weight in this one shows up as flat roots if you cut the rinse short.
Results
Over-processed hair gets its bounce back. A strand stretches instead of snapping, the comb moves through without dragging, and the dull, porous look that comes with colour and heat lifts within a treatment or two.
Shine is the obvious change. The texture feels denser and less papery, which is what happens when the lipids a strand has lost are put back into it.
