Blue Magic's shea butter conditioner is a leave-in rather than a rinse-out, which is an important distinction. It is designed to sit on the hair and keep working, not to be washed away after two minutes. Shea butter carries the weight and the coconut fruit extract adds softness, and together they give the sort of finish that coily hair usually needs from a daily moisturiser rather than from a wash day treatment.
Expect softness and shine rather than hold. There is nothing in it to set a style, so if you want definition you would layer a gel or a custard over the top. What it does well is stop hair feeling brittle by the third day, which is when most protective styles start to look tired.
Scoop a little from the 355ml jar, warm it in your hands, and press it into damp or dry hair. Daily use is fine.

Application tips
It sits in the middle of a routine. Water or a spray leave-in first, this next, a gel over the top if you want the curl held. Take a scoop, work it between the palms until it disappears, then press it into a section flat-handed and squeeze upwards.
On dry hair midweek, a smaller amount on the ends alone is enough. Nothing gets rinsed at any point.
Results
Coily hair stays soft into the third day instead of going brittle and grabby, which is when most protective styles start to look tired. Shine comes up on hair that had gone matte and dusty. There is no hold in it at all, so curls stay loose and movable. The weight is noticeable on finer textures, so this belongs to the tighter end of the range.
