Blue Magic's herbal complex leave-in is written for both natural and relaxed hair, which is useful if there is more than one texture in the house or you are somewhere between the two yourself.
It is a rich leave-in rather than a spray. Argan oil carries the moisture and a herbal blend rounds it out, and the result is hair that stays soft for longer than a water-based leave-in usually manages. Shine is the other obvious change: dull hair picks up a lot more light after a couple of uses.
Because it is heavy, a small amount goes a long way. Take less than you think, warm it between your palms, and work it through damp hair from the ends upwards rather than dumping it on the roots.
390 g. Suits wavy through curly hair, roughly 2a to 3b, and it is a sensible choice for twists, wash-and-gos and relaxed styles alike.

Application tips
Jar products punish generosity, so start with a fingertip and add only if the section is still dry. Rub it out until it turns clear in the palms, then smooth it over a damp section with flat hands and follow with your fingers to separate.
Natural hair takes more than relaxed hair does. Between washes, mist a section with water first, then reapply, since it needs something to sit on.
Results
Softness lasts. Where a water-based spray has evaporated off by lunchtime, this is still doing something at bedtime, which is the trade you make for the weight. Shine is the visible change: dull hair catches noticeably more light after a couple of applications. Hair stays pliable for twists, wash-and-gos or a relaxed set, and the comb moves through without dragging.
