Two 750ml bottles, a shampoo and a matching conditioner, sold together as a set. That size is a commitment, and it makes sense for the hair this is aimed at. Badly damaged, brittle, and needing the same routine every wash for months rather than a single dramatic treatment.

Resurrection is TIGI's repair line under the Bed Head name. The pair work on hair wrecked by heat styling, bleach, perms and relaxers, going after strength rather than just smoothing the surface over. Brittle lengths hold together better, and the shine that comes back is a flatter cuticle rather than a coating.

Use them together. The shampoo does the cleansing without adding to the damage, and the conditioner is where most of the repair work actually happens, so skipping it wastes the point of buying the set.

Suits 2a through 3c hair that has been coloured, lightened or heat styled to the point where it snaps when you brush it.

Application tips

This one is aimed at hair that has taken real punishment, so use it as a pair. Shampoo twice on the first wash if there is product build-up, once thereafter. Conditioner goes on wrung-out hair from the mid-lengths down, never at the roots, and wants a few minutes rather than a few seconds. Detangle while it is still on, with a wide-tooth comb, working from the ends upwards.

Results

Brittle lengths feel more pliable after the first wash and noticeably less rough by the third. Breakage during combing drops because the slip is there when you need it, and the shine comes back to hair that had gone flat and dull. Strength here is the cosmetic sort: hair that bends under a brush rather than snapping.
